Delta Corp casino in trouble, gets GST notice of ₹6385 crore

Casino running company Delta Corp has once again received a notice from GST officials. According to the information, in the new notice, Delta Corp’s subsidiary DeltaTech Gaming has been asked to pay Rs 6,385 crore as outstanding tax. DeltaTech has been asked to pay tax of Rs 6,237 crore for the period January 2018 to November 2022 and Rs 148 crore for the period July 2017 to October 2022.

n the GST notice, DeltaTech Gaming Ltd has been advised to pay the alleged tax deficiency along with interest and penalty, Delta Corp told the stock exchange. If payment is not made, a show cause notice will be issued to the company under Section 74 (1) of the CGST Act, 2017. Let us tell you that DeltaTech Gaming runs gaming apps Adda52 and AddaGames. This company was earlier known as Gaussian Networks.

Delta Corp’s total tax liability now stands at Rs 23,206 crore. This amount is more than 6 times the market capitalization of the company. Earlier on September 22, the company received Rs 11,140 crore.

Notice for repayment was received. Besides this, the company was also sent a notice of tax amounting to Rs 5,682 crore to be paid by its three subsidiaries – Casino Deltin Denzong, Highstreet Cruises and Delta Pleasure Cruises.
