Flipkart Chief People Officer Krishna Raghavan has resigned after more than a decade at the e-commerce firm. A senior company official confirmed that Raghavan has decided to move on after his “long tenure” at the company. The company official said that the company will soon decide on who will take over as HR chief.

Raghavan was the chief people officer at Flipkart since 2020 and before that was the senior vice president of engineering, fulfillment and services. The Denson University alumnus worked for the e-commerce firm between 2012 and 2016 before joining Cleartrip as chief technology officer. Raghavan returned to Flipkart in 2017 . His exit comes amid the annual festive sales of ecommerce giants Flipkart and Amazon.

In November, Flipkart announced a $700 million employee stock option (ESOP) buyback plan. The e-commerce company, which has over 15,000 employees, said senior management would not have to step out of its decision not to give salary hikes as there was a raise and promotion cycle last year, followed by a stock option buyback plan.
